“ February 2025 2nd visit here in the space of 3 days.(Sunday)This time I had Carrot & Coriander soup, absolutely delicious. The egg mayonnaise sandwiches that accompanied the soup were also delicious. The other 3 members of the party had mince roll, cheese and onion panini, and a cheese and ham toasties. All agreed they were delicious. Coffees, strawberry milkshake, tea accompanied by caramel shortbread, Maltese slice, Mars bar slice, and carrot cake. Again, thoroughly enjoyable. Friendly staff, quick service, very reasonable prices. Can't wit till my next visit ”

“ We had a lovely walk along Monifieth Beach today and decided to call into the Bay Diner for a bite to eat. Originally we planned to take away however the Diner was very cosy and friendly so we chose to dine in. The staff were very friendly and attentive and the food was absolutely delicious and great value. The Bay Diner is a wee hidden gem and we would definitely recommend to other walkers looking for somewhere to stop and eat. Whilst we never tasted the cakes they looked absolutely scrummy. We had a breakfast which was very tasty with beautiful quality produce and a jacket potato with delicious homemade coleslaw. ”

“ The Bay Diner is located just outside the exit of Tayview Caravan Park in Monifieth where we're staying in our caravan. Had breakfast there yesterday morning. It was busy, which for me, is always a good sign. We were fortunate that people had just left and the waitress quickly cleaned and reset the table for us. We each had a fried egg roll, a hot drink and shared a fruit scone. The food, drinks and the service were all excellent. Went back again this morning for breakfast and enjoyed the exact same experience. Going home tomorrow, but we'll be back at Tayview for sure and will definitely be back at the Bay Diner. Keep up the good work! ”
